We are a Year 1 class at Nelson Central School, Nelson, New Zealand. Most of us are 5 years old,
except for our teachers, Tracy and Sam and our teacher aide, Victoria, who are a little older. This blog lets you know what we
have been up to and what our next learning steps will be. We love to find out what people
think about our class so please get typing and leave us a comment.

Week 4 Term 2

Not many photos from during the week as we had a small battery issue with our camera. It is all sorted now for next week and a big thank you to Zoe's granddad for taking these great photos of our trip to the Suter Gallery on Wednesday.

During the week we worked on pictures to illustrate our Class Treaty that we developed last term. Watch out for them on display in the class later this week.

Our poem and song this week had a Kiwi bird theme. We will be writing about the kiwi bird next week.
