Week 7 Term 3

The term is rushing past, with only 3 weeks left, but we still have plenty of energy for learning in Room 10.

We will start our blog with the latest animation from Finn's dad and his team of enthusiastic workers.

This week in maths we explored capacity by looking at the different sized bowls from the Goldilocks and the Three Bears story.

Then we made different sized paper cones and counted how many cubes we could fit into each one.

We continued to learn the words that go with the mnemonic "Oh You Lucky Duck" plus a few other words.

IN our P.E. sessions we worked on skipping, boules and hula hooping, what a healthy lot we are!

We saw a very interesting range of items in news this week. We thought we might do some writing about the shark jaw later this week....watch out for some scary stories.

I hope all the dads and some of the granddads out  there enjoyed the work we had been doing in our writing and art lessons to create a special Father's Day surprise for you......
