We are a Year 1 class at Nelson Central School, Nelson, New Zealand. Most of us are 5 years old,
except for our teachers, Tracy and Sam and our teacher aide, Victoria, who are a little older. This blog lets you know what we
have been up to and what our next learning steps will be. We love to find out what people
think about our class so please get typing and leave us a comment.

Week 1 Term 3 100 Days of School!

This week we continued practicing our fundamental skills by working on our overarm throw. We loved the new human target game that Jane taught us!

Much of our week was spent celebrating 100 days of school. We had a special poem with 100 words..take a look at us performing this as a team.

In ICT we used the Age My Face app to think about what we might look like when we were 100...warning, some scary pictures in this slide show......

With our Room 5 buddies we made a giant, human 100.....
......and of course Discovery Time was full of 100 themed exploration as well as some amazing parachute designs.
