except for our teachers, Tracy and Sam and our teacher aide, Victoria, who are a little older. This blog lets you know what we
have been up to and what our next learning steps will be. We love to find out what people

Week 9 Term 1

This week saw more of our Monarch butterflies emerging from their cocoons and enjoying bring released into the Junior Playground.
In maths we continued to work on our number recognition by playing number twister.

With Sam we learnt a new probability game which we will be extending further next week.
One of our sounds for this week was 'l' for lion.

We also learnt some 'l' tricky words including 'like' and 'look'. We are getting very good at remembering to leave finger spaces when writing sentences.

We love our library reading sessions after lunch and sharing our favourite books together.

A whole heap of art work was appearing in class this week. We compiled our colourful ice cream cones using the colour tints and tones we made last week.....very tasty.
Check out our fabulous faces now on display in the class.

  1. Hello Room 10,

I like the look of the lion you used for the 'L' sound.

And I like the Monarch butterflies that you are releasing in to the Junior Playground. Do they have lots of food there?

Do enjoy your visit to the Museum.
